Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Your 8 Day Morocco Tour from Casablanca starts with pick up from Casablanca airport, your hotel, or any place you choose in Casablanca.

First, you can visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the most beautiful buildings in Morocco. It is located near the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the main attractions in Casablanca.

After the visit, you drive to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Rabat is a clean and calm city with many historic places. You can visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Royal Palace area, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas.

In the evening, you check in to your hotel or riad in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you leave Rabat and drive north toward the Rif Mountains. The road takes you through small towns, green hills, and countryside views.

In the afternoon, you arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco. This small mountain town is one of the most beautiful places in the country. It is known for its blue houses, narrow streets, colorful doors, and relaxed feeling.

You can walk inside the old medina, visit the main square, take photos, and enjoy mint tea in a local café. Chefchaouen is a peaceful place and a favorite stop for many travelers.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, you leave Chefchaouen and travel toward Fes.

On the way, you visit Volubilis, an old Roman site with ancient ruins, stone streets, columns, and mosaics. It is a good place to learn about the Roman history of Morocco.

After Volubilis, you continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. You can see Bab Mansour gate, the old medina, and the main square. Meknes is smaller than Fes and Marrakech, but it has a lot of charm and history.

In the afternoon, you drive to Fes, one of the oldest cities in Morocco. You arrive in the evening and check in to your riad.

Day 4: Full Day to Explore Fes

Today is for exploring Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco. After breakfast, you start a guided visit of the old medina.

Fes is famous for its narrow streets, old schools, mosques, souks, leather tanneries, handmade crafts, and traditional life. The medina is very old and full of history.

You can visit the famous Chouara Tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine area, Nejjarine Fountain, and local artisan workshops. You will also see food markets, spice shops, and old city gates.

Fes is one of the best places to understand Moroccan culture. It is busy, colorful, and full of life.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, you leave Fes and start your journey to the Sahara Desert.

Your first stop is Ifrane, a quiet mountain town known for its clean streets and European-style houses. Then you continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys.

After that, you drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop around Midelt for lunch. The landscape changes as you travel south. You will see mountains, valleys, dry plains, palm trees, and small Berber villages.

In the afternoon, you pass through the beautiful Ziz Valley, one of the largest palm valleys in Morocco.

By evening, you arrive in Merzouga, near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, you ride camels into the Sahara Desert while the sun goes down.

At the desert camp, you enjoy dinner, Berber music, and a quiet night under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. This is one of the best moments of the Casablanca desert tour.

After breakfast, you return by camel or 4×4 from the camp. Then you leave Merzouga and drive to Rissani, a traditional market town near the desert. It is known for dates, spices, and local souks.

Next, you continue through Erfoud and small desert towns toward Todra Gorge. Todra Gorge is a beautiful canyon with high rock walls and a small river. You can walk inside the gorge and take photos.

Later, you drive to Dades Valley, famous for its red rocks, old kasbahs, green fields, and mountain views.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, you leave Dades Valley and travel through the road of kasbahs.

You pass through the Rose Valley, a beautiful area known for roses and local rose products. Then you continue to Ouarzazate, a city famous for film studios and desert landscapes.

After that, you visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the most famous old villages in Morocco. This UNESCO site is made of clay and stone, and many movies were filmed here.

You can walk through the old kasbah and climb to the top for a nice view.

In the afternoon, you cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. The road has many beautiful views, mountain villages, and photo stops.
